“We would like to express our delight at our new 130mm NSW blackbutt floor! Even more so as after having it laid, the builder put protective sheeting down prior to the cabinetry and stone for the kitchen going in. He used gaffer tape to fix the protection to the wood floor. After the kitchen was installed, the builder removed the gaffer tape and in no less than 4 locations, removed the top layer of sealant on the beautiful wood floor.

How Soon Can I Walk On My Floors?
This will depend on what kind of flooring surface is being installed. A prefinished timber flooring can be walked on immediately after installation. Whereas, raw boards which are finished onsite, typically can be walked on (with socks) 24 hours after the last finishing coast is applied. Although dry, the finish will still be soft and so we recommend allowing 4 days for curing before placing furniture and 2 weeks before placing any rugs.
