With Halloween fast approaching we have come up with a few tips and tricks on how to keep your flooring in great condition and protected from sticky-fingered witches and gooey goblins.
Rugs
Rugs are great for the festive season as they are versatile and easy to move. We recommend placing these at doorways where trick or treaters will enter and halls where they will walk through. Rugs will also, with any luck, catch any lollies or candies if they are dropped.
Bonus points if you find a spooky festive rug to add to your house for Halloween.
Cleaners/ Sponge
As we all know, no matter how careful we are mistakes can happen. We recommend having a damp to almost dry sponge on hand so spills or sticky lollies can easily be cleaned up as soon as they occur without you having to leave.
Stay Outside
Weather permitting, we recommend greeting trick or treaters and giving them candy outside to avoid dirty shoes and confectionery on your timber flooring.
